Prof. Sergio Orsi (ITA), after 17 years as President of the International Canoe Federation (ICF), decided to not present his candidature for an other term. 

Ulrich Feldhoff (GER), 2nd Vive-President of the ICF and President of the German Canoe Federation and Albert Woods, Board of Directors Member ICF, President of the European Canoe Association and President of the British Canoe Union, presented there candidature.
