WORLD CUP RULES CANOE SLALOM (WCS)

Categories:
Men.   Kayak (K-1), Canadien Single (C-1), Canadien Double (C-2)
Women. Kayak Single (K-1).  

Point System (all categories). Each of the participating competitors
receive points in the World Cup as follows:

Final: 1st 30 points, 2nd 25, 3rd 20, 4th 18, 5th 17, 6th 16,
7th 15, 8th 14, 9th 13, 10th 12; Semifinal: 11th 10, 12th 9, 13th
8, 14th 7, 15th 6; then all others competitors in Semifinal 5; then
all boats that do not qualifly for the Semifinal 2; except boats
that finish DNF receive 1; those boats that receive DSQ-C and DNS-C
receive 0 points.  

For the final competition and in the Final every year the points
will be multiplied by 1.5; the number of designated events is one
less than the number of Wold Cups Slalom Racing in that year;

if an athlete competes in all World Cups than his/her worst result
is excluded from the calculation of the over all World Cup in
Canoe/Kayak Slalom Racing. The competitor with the highest total
points is the Winner of the World Cup in his/her event.

GuangZhou/CHN; no. 2, July 19-21, Augsburg/GER; no. 3, July 27-28,
Tacen/SLO; no. 4, August July 3-4, Prague/CZE; no. 5, September
14-15, Macae/BRA (Final).
