WORLD CUP RULES CANOE SLALOM (WCS)
Categories:
Men. Kayak (K-1), Canadien Single (C-1), Canadien Double (C-2)
Women. Kayak Single (K-1).
Point System (all categories, points given only in finals:
Men. K-1 (20 boats), C-1 (15 boats), C-2 (15 boats);
Women. K-1 (15 boats); 1. = 30 pts., 2. = 25, 3. = 20., 4. = 17,
5. = 16., 6. = 15, 7. = 14, 8. = 13, 9, = 8, etc.
(..) = previous ranking, previos points.
The WCS normally consist of 5 events in at least 2 continents.
The final being mandatory. Competitors must have startetd in at
least the heats of the final World Cup Competition to be included
in the final World Cup Ranking.
After all the competions are concluded, the final ranking, in
each category is established by adding together the best three
results, one of which has to bee the result of the final.
Competotors competing in the heats but not reaching the final
will receive 0 points for the World Cup Final only.
